SEAL Solutions Opening New Showroom

Islandia,
N.Y. – SEAL Solutions, a New
York area custom-installer-to-the-stars that was
founded by a former U.S. Navy SEAL, will open its first showroom here on
Thursday.

A grand-opening event
sponsored by Lutron will be held at the home-theater showroom that evening. Representatives
from Crestron, Paradigm, Runco and Stewart Filmscreen are also expected to
attend.

SEAL Solutions
principal Chris Wyllie, a graduate of the Navy’s Advanced Electronics School
who served in the Persian Gulf, started the company out off his home to provide
customers with “state-of-the-art technology … so they can have more control
over their environment, making their lives easier, and giving them more time
and energy to enjoy life.”

SEAL’s client
roster includes such celebrities as Liam Neeson, Liev Schreiber, Naomi Watts,
Kiefer Sutherland, Julianna Margulies and Maxwell, and last year the company
received CEDIA’s prestigious Electronic Systems Contractor (ESC)
award.

 Thursday’s grand-opening
event will feature a “sneak preview” of the new

.

“Traditional,” one
of three distinct home-theater designs including “Deco” and “Modern” that were created
exclusively for SEAL by Kalomirakis, will also be showcased. Components include
Runco’s Q-750i projector, Stewart Filmscreen’s 120-inch Cine-V curved screen, Oppo
Digital’s BDP-83 Blu-ray Disc player, Denon’s AVR-4810CI
A/V receiver, a Crestron control system, Paradigm Reference loudspeakers and
subwoofers, TM cables and interconnects from Planet Waves, PS Audio’s PowerPlay
9000 power conditioner, Apple TV, TiVo DVRs, Pakedge routers and switches, and TK
Living architectural detailing products and fabrics.

“I wanted to
instill our business with the pride and professionalism I learned in the Navy,”
said Wyllie, who is CEDIA-certified as a Level One installer. “In today’s challenging
economic times, a business has to provide customers with the highest levels of
quality, service and value. Our affiliation with Theo Kalomirakis and top-level
manufacturers, and the opening of our new showroom, reflect SEAL’s commitment.”
