Scosche Shows BlueLife Headphones

Scosche Industries is showing during International CES its BlueLife headphones made specifically for iPods with bottom-dock capabilities, enabling wireless listening capabilities for any iPod or MP3 player. The company can be located at booth 2409 in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Scosche’s BlueLife Bluetooth headphones with bottom-dock transmitter (model IPBHPK) is static free, receives CD quality sound from an iPod up to 30 feet away and features nine hours of rechargeable battery life, the company said.

The complete BlueLife headphone kit includes wireless headphones, bottom-dock iPod transmitter, built-in hands-free microphone and charging cables.

Scosche’s BlueLife headphones will also pair with any Bluetooth-enabled cellphone. When the cellphone rings, the system will mute the music and answer the call. The hands-free microphone allows users to take a call without touching their cellphone, then goes right back to the music after the user hangs up, the firm said. The IPBHPK features a wireless range of 30 feet and is Bluetooth 1.2 compliant for continuous streaming audio.

The suggested retail of the IPBHPK is $179.

Scosche will also be showing its Freestyle line of RF remotes for iPods. All RF remotes can control key features: play/pause, on/off, volume, track forward, track back, random song and playlists and have a wireless range of 150 feet. Pricing is available from the company at the show.
