Oxnard, Calif. — Scosche Industries introduced a solar-powered Bluetooth speakerphone today.
Reportedly powered by an integrated solar panel and lithium-ion rechargeable battery combination, the SolChat features voice-announce technology that announces calls as t
hey come in, guides users through Bluetooth 2.0 pairing, and automatically connects to users’ cellphone once initially paired.
Its design is meant to be simple, according to the company, and features only three visible buttons: volume up, volume down and the answer/hang-up multifunction button.
The SolChat is currently available for a suggested $99.99 and comes with a windshield suction-cup mount and sun visor clip.
