NEW YORK -- The National Electronics Home/Office & Appliance Industries Division of the Anti-Defamation League will hold its annual dinner/dance at the New York Marriott World Trade Center on Saturday, Nov. 11.
Three industry executives will be honored by the ADL during the event: Phil Schoonover, senior VP, digital solutions, Best Buy; Bill Casamo, executive VP, DirecTV; and Michael O'Hara, senior VP, Thomson Consumer Electronics.
According to the ADL, the three executives are being honored for "personifying the highest ideals of our diverse democratic society, generosity of spirit, leadership and dedication to our democratic ideals, and dedication to the preservation of freedom and equal rights."
The industry chair of the black-tie event is Harry Elias of JVC. Dinner co-chairs are Wade Fenn of Best Buy and James Meyer of Thomson Consumer Electronics. Journal co-chairs are Mike London of Best Buy, Scott Norhouse of DirecTV and Erick Schulenberg of Thomson Consumer Electronics.
Honorary industry chair is Saul Gold, and vice co-chairs are Marcia Grand of TWICE and Lois Whitman of HWH Public Relations.
