City of Industry, Calif. – Sceptre said Thursday it is now
shipping its 40-inch X409BV-FHD 1080p LCD TVs.
said the LED
edge-lit LCD TV was designed to conform to the Energy Star 5.3 guidelines, and will
cost just $14 per year in average electric use to operate.
“Sceptre’s 40 series furthers our commitment to the environment,
energy efficiency and cost savings without sacrificing user experience and
image quality,” said Cathy Chou, Sceptre operations VP.
The feature set includes Auto Dynamic Contrast Enhancement that
reveals low-light details in the image, multiple HDMI ports for easy
connectivity, and more than 50,000 hours of average backlight life from the LED
edge-lit system.
