CITY OF INDUSTRY, CALIF. — Sceptre, a manufacturer of LCD and LED TV and PC monitors, has introduced its Fuzion TV mounting system, a home entertainment management solution that attaches a flat-panel mount to a home-theater component shelving stand.
The TV stand and multimedia support system is built to mount up to a 55-inch flat-panel TV and support up to 235 pounds of entertainment components on three integrated shelving units (top shelf, 110 pounds; middle, 35 pounds; bottom, 90 pounds). The shelves are 6mm black silkscreen glass supported by scratch-resistant powder-coated steel and curved wood posts for a modern design aesthetic.
The mount can rotate left and right 30 degrees and tilts to a 12-degree angle if orientated upward and to a 15- degree angle downward.
The unit includes a cable-management system to eliminate cord clutter.
The unit measures 52 inches high by 50 inches wide by 20.5 inches deep and weighs 80 pounds.
The Fuzion TV stand series is initially available at Costco and Newegg.com for a suggested retail of $299.
Sceptre also offers a variety of standard TV and home-theater stands in two-shelf, three-shelf and four-shelf designs, including three other models with swivel and tilt mounts and one with a swivel-only mount. They range in price from $199 to $399.
