Sceptre Adds MHL-Ready 32-inch LED LCD TV

City of Industry, Calif – Sceptre introduced Wednesday its first LED LCD TV featuring Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) technology, capable of connecting with smartphones, tablets and aftermarket streaming devices like Roku’s SmartStick.

Sceptre’s FullHD 1080p ultra-slim 32-inch back-lit LED LCD will be part of a series of HDTVs designed to easily connect with smart devices and carrying universal remote controls that can operate connected devices.

In includes three HDMI inputs, including one integrated with MHL. The technology uses a single cable to support up to 1080p high-definition video and surround sound audio while simultaneously charging the connected device.

The set conforms to EnergyStar 5.3 guidelines and includes a swivel base.

Sceptre’s 32-inch LED HDTV with MHL technology is currently available for a $600 at Amazon, QVC, Sears, K-mart, Tiger Direct, Costco and NewEgg.
