Suzuki Signs XM
Washington — XM Satellite Radio announced a deal with Suzuki to provide XM radios to the Japanese automaker as a dealer option starting this fall. Suzuki will offer XM in the 2006 Grand Vitara and XL-7 SUVs, which will arrive XM-ready at U.S. dealerships beginning in mid-September. The XM tuner and antenna must be purchased at the dealer for $399 plus installation.
Sirius Rolls With Stones
New York — Sirius Satellite Radio announced it will launch an all-Rolling Stones music channel starting today, to air until Sept. 29. The Rolling Stones will help program the channel, which will feature Stones music, rare tracks, live cuts and previews from the band’s new CD, “A Bigger Bang.”
