DENVER — Sanus came to CEDIA Expo to introduce a new line of TV wall mounts.
The new Premium line boasts higher-end aesthetics and materials and less hardware to simplify installation, according to Sanus.
Eleven new models range in size and positioning abilities, with mounts that can accommodate flat panels from 13 inches to 80 inches and up to 125 pounds. There are fixed-position, tilting, full-motion and Full Motion + SKUs.
All feature an included magnetic level, stud-finder tool and installation template, fully assembled interfaces, as well as pre-installed finger tightening fasteners, key-holed wall plates and quick-release tabs for tool-less setup.
All the new mounts also have audible safety locks.
The Premium mounts’ leveling can be adjusted after installation, Sanus said, and each features a kickstand so the TV can be pulled away from the wall to allow cables to be routed into the back of the TV after installation.
“Our entire line is simplified, making it easier for an installer or the consumer to find the right mount, and have the assurance that it has been installed safely,” said Dominic Grey, Sanus product development director.
The Premium Series will be available worldwide in October; retails range from $29.99 to $349. The line is on display in booth 2010.
