Santa Fe Springs, Calif. – Consumer radio manufacturer Sangean is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a special-edition AM/FM wood-cabinet tabletop radio at a suggested $139.
Sangean’s tabletop-radio lineup includes AM/FM atomic-clock radios, HD radios, AM/FM/Bluetooth radios, networked FM/Wi-Fi radios that stream Internet radio services and computer-stored music, and networked clock radios. Portable radios include AM/FM USB, AM/FM Bluetooth, weather, world-band and work-site radios.
To this mix, Sangean is adding for a limited time a special edition of the WR-11 wood tabletop AM/FM analog radio. It features solid-walnut veneer finish, gold front and rear panels, and highlighted 40th anniversary logo. Features include vermier tuning, rotary dial with LED tuning light, LED-lit analog tuning display, aux in, 3-inch speaker and record output.
The company positions its models as best-in-class radios.
