Milpitas, Calif. — To complement Nikon’s new D90, SanDisk added its fastest SDHC cards to date.
The new SanDisk Extreme III SDHC cards offer a data speed of 30MBps. Prior to the new card, SanDisk said its fastest Extreme III SD card clocked in at 20MBps.
Nikon’s new D90 SLR is the first camera to support the full speed capabilities of the new memory cards.
SanDisk will ship the new card in September in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities for $64.99, $109 and $179, respectively.
