Ridgefield Park, N.J.
– Samsung Electronics America introduced Wednesday a midrange 14.2-megapixel

It combines such
popular features as 720p high-definition video recording, a 3-inch LCD screen

“The PL200 is the
ideal digital camera for those who value simplicity but also long for a more

marketing senior VP. “With the PL200, consumers can experience the versatility
offered by more advanced digital cameras, along with a comprehensive suite of

camera without stepping outside of their comfort zone.”

modes, blink detection and face detection.

A Smart Album
feature is also offered to help users manage image files.
