Samsung’s ‘Seasons’ Gala Raises $500K

New York – What event could possibly draw Hall of Fame caliber athletes, show biz notables, top retailing executives and the current and previous Mayors of this city.

Samsung’s Four Seasons of Hope national goodwill program celebrated a Day of Hope here last night during its annual fundraiser held at Cipriani’s, which raised more than $500,000 to aid children and families in need.

Among the celebrities in attendance (pictured from left to right) were: musician Jon Bon Jovi, who performed at the event; New York Yankees’ Manager Joe Torre; Samsung’s senior VP/strategic marketing, Peter Weedfald; former NFL quarterback Boomer Esiason; Super Bowl winning head coach Bill Belichick of the New England Patriots; basketball legend Magic Johnson; and TV’s Pat O’Brien.                                                                            

Top executives from Best Buy, Circuit City, CompUSA and Sears, who help support the charitable works of Samsung’s Four Seasons of Hope team members Jon Bon Jovi, Joe Torre, Boomer Esiason, Magic Johnson and Arnold Palmer, were also in attendance.
