SAMSUNG PRESENTS $1M IN TECHNOLOGY PRPDUCTS TO SCHOOLS

NEW YORK —

Samsung presented $1 million in technology,
including a grand prize of $155,000 to West Salem High School
of Oregon, as part of its Solve For Tomorrow contest at the Samsung
Experience showroom, here, in partnership with singer and
Show Me Campaign founder John Legend, Microsoft, DirecTV
and the Adobe Foundation. The contest, which is part of Samsung’s
Hope for Children initiative, is a national science, technology,
engineering and mathematics competition that involved
more than 1,100 schools nationwide. Pictured are John Legend; Samsung’s David Steel, executive VP of strategy and
