Dallas – Todd Pendleton jumped from Nike to Samsung Mobile as
chief marketing officer, overseeing all marketing activities for Samsung’s
mobile division in the U.S.
Pendleton was Nike’s global brand communications director
and led the company’s global marketing and communication initiatives. He had
been with Nike since 1996.
In filling an open
position at Samsung Mobile, Pendleton will be responsible for the development
of integrated marketing, customer-relationship management and
customer-experience management strategies that align with Samsung Mobile’s
corporate business strategy, the company said. Pendleton reports to directly to
Samsung Mobile president Dale Sohn.
