Ridgefield Park, N.J. —Samsung Electronics America’s headquarters, here, was evacuated on Wednesday due to a car fire in the parking garage connected to the building.
In a statement to TWICE this morning a Samsung spokesperson said, “Samsung’s Ridgefield Park office was evacuated yesterday afternoon following the report of a car fire on the outside parking deck. No injuries were reported, and normal business operations have resumed.”
According to a report from NorthJersey.com the fire began at 2:30 p.m. in a car parked in the garage and spread to two other cars, with 200 people evacuated from the building. No one was injured.
