New York – Samsung has filed a complaint against Ericsson with the U.S. International Trade Commission arguing that Ericsson has infringed upon seven patents.
The complaint asks for a ban on import and sales of Ericsson products into the United States. The patents in question cover telecommunications networking equipment and base stations, according to Samsung.
This suit follows one filed by Ericsson against Samsung in November in District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, also for patent infringement on the same type of technology.
