Ridgefield Park, N.J. — Samsung Electronics America has entered a new multiyear contract to continue its NFL sponsorship. Through its sponsorship, Samsung said it received several key designations including “Official HDTV of the NFL” and “Official Home Theater of the NFL.”
“We are excited to expand upon our relationship with the NFL after serving as the Official HDTV of the NFL for the past two years,” said Tim Baxter, sales and marketing executive, Samsung Electronics, in a release.
The company said it will launch its NFL sponsorship through a comprehensive marketing campaign and through its major retail partners. Samsung also noted in a release that the NFL has chosen to install Samsung HDTVs in select areas of all stadiums as part of the league’s recent HDTV upgrade.
