Samsung, Circuit City, Joe Torre Team Up

Ridgefield Park, N.J. – Samsung’s Four Seasons of Hope and Circuit City are teaming with New York Yankees manager Joe Torre to aid in the fight against domestic violence in a special promotion this spring.

When consumers purchase Samsung products at Circuit City from April 4 to May 1, Samsung and Circuit City will donate money to the Joe Torre Safe at Home Foundation, whose mission is to develop educational programs that will help end the cycle of domestic violence and save lives.

In addition, consumers can log onto www.circuitcity.com to enter to win a trip-for-two to Major League Baseball’s 2004 All-Star Game in Houston as well as Torre-autographed baseballs or Samsung products.

The Circuit City/Joe Torre relationship is one part of Samsung’s Four Seasons of Hope. This is a year-round giving program that brings together golf’s Arnold Palmer, former NFL quarterback Boomer Esiason, NBA star Magic Johnson and Torre for retail programs that aim to improve the quality of life for children and their families who face major challenges. Rock star Jon Bon Jovi has also joined Four Seasons of Hope as the foundation’s official musician.
