Ridgefield Park, N.J. – Samsung today revealed the pricing and shipping information for its previously announced Galaxy Tab 3 line.
The new additions are the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 and Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 with respective prices of $199, $299 and $399. All will be available by July 7, but pre-orders will start being accepted on June 25 at Best Buy/Best Buy Mobile, Amazon, Wal-Mart, h.h. Gregg, Office Depot, Toys ‘R’ Us, P.C. Richard & Son, Fry’s, Newegg, Sears and Samsung.com.
The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features a 7-inch display and is geared toward consumers interested in consuming media while on the go. The Tab 3 8.0 adds an extra inch to the display size and Samsung is positioning it as an e-reader, but with the ability to handle mult-tasking and it is bundled with Polaris Office and Google Chrome.
The Tab 10.1 is a 10.1-inch model that is optimized for entertainment and has Samsung’s WatchON TV recommendation service for use in a second screen environment.
Add on features include Galaxy Perks, a $10 voucher for use in Google Play, one year free Boingo hotspot service, three months free Hulu Plus and two years free of free 50GB Dropbox storage space.
