Newmarket, N.H. –
Russound shipped a stereo Bluetooth adapter designed specifically for
integration with any brand of residential and commercial multi-room-audio
systems.
The $375-suggested
BSK-1 Bluetooth Source Kit, said to be the first of its kind, consists of two
pieces. A Bluetooth transceiver receives Bluetooth audio from
Bluetooth-equipped devices up to 100 feet away. It can be placed on a table or
mounted in a standard electrical junction box. The Bluetooth transceiver, in
turn, connects via CAT-5 cable to an audio interface that plugs into a multi-room-equipment
rack up to 300 feet away. The audio interface incorporates active balanced line
drivers to improve sound quality.
The kit comes with
12-volt trigger input and output.
