Consumer Returns 2008, a three-day conference on returns prevention and management strategies co-sponsored by TWICE, will be held Oct. 27-29 at the Renaissance Atlanta Hotel here.
The event is designed to help consumer electronics and major appliance retailers and manufacturers enhance profitability by reducing returns, optimizing reverse logistics processes and ramping up asset recovery efforts.
Highlights of the event will include:
- a keynote address on consumer education strategies by Sony senior VP Mike Abary;
- a presentation on the Aquos Advantage program by Sharp Electronics’ senior VP Chuck Schaefer; and
- a panel on utilizing returns-related data with Best Buy innovations manager John Slothower and LG Electronics senior quality management director Jon Heller.
