BrandsMart USA Powers Up Repair Services

HOLLYWOOD, FLA. – Multiregional CE, majap and housewares discounter BrandsMart USA said its inhouse service operation has achieved greater efficiencies and cost-savings by outsourcing its scheduling and billing functions to ServicePower. Previously, service calls were routed by hand and dispatched by a staffer, the chain’s services VP Cosmo Adamo told TWICE. Now, the day’s service calls are plotted, dispatched and billed through ServicePower’s servers, saving time, gasoline and paperwork. Indeed, its optimization software has boosted the retailer’s average daily service calls in South Florida from about 160 to 250 per day without a concomitant increase in crews or trucks, while gas consumption is down, Adamo said.
