Seattle — Microsoft plans to cut the price of its Xbox 360 Pro video game console to $299 from $349, according to a Reuters’ report, Friday.
The report cited a source who had been briefed on the plan, but Microsoft had no comment. The system includes a 20GB hard drive
A new $299 price will be $100 less than Sony’s PlayStation3, which includes a 40GB hard drive, and $50 higher than Nintendo’s $249 Wii console.
