RCA Licensees To Showcase CE Products

New York – Several
RCA-brand consumer electronics licensees will team up to use the Consumer
Electronics Association (CEA) Line Shows event here June 22-23 to showcase a
number of products, from A/V home-theater systems to handheld portable TVs.

Among the
highlights of the new offerings are the following:

Alco Electronics,
the Raleigh, N.C., based licensee for the RCA brand for home-theater systems
and various other source devices, will present an RCA mobile sound system for
the iPad, model RPD631, which will feature an iPad dock and included headrest
mount, wireless headphones, remote control, stereo speakers, and built-in FM
radio. It will carry a $99 suggested retail when it ships in September.

Alco will also display
an RCA Blu-ray Disc player, model BRC11072, supporting the BD-Live profile 2.0
spec, and includes built-in Internet streaming with support for the Netflix
movie service. It has HDMI 1080p output, coaxial digital audio output, and Ethernet
and USB ports. It is shipping now at a $99 suggested retail.

In RCA Blu-ray
Disc home-theater systems, the company will show model RTB1016, offering  300 watts of audio power and support for the
BD-Live profile 2.0 spec, enabling Internet streaming of Netflix movies and
Pandora audio content. It also offers an HDMI v1.3 output; it’s shipping now at
a $229 suggested retail.

It will be joined
by the RCA home-theater system with Blu-ray player, model RTB1023, which offers
500 watts of system power with BD-Live profile 2.0 spec support for Pandora
music and Vudu and Netflix streaming movie services. It is shipping now at a
$249 suggested retail.

On Corp., which is
the San Diego-based licensee of the RCA brand for home-based TVs 20 inches and
larger, will show the RCA 46-inch class LCD HDTV, model 46LA45RQ, with FullHD
1080p resolution, a 4,000:1 contrast ratio, four HDMI inputs and less than 1
watt power draw in standby mode. It is shipping now at a $699 street retail to Best
Buy, Amazon and Walmart.com.

It will be joined
by On’s RCA 32-inch class LCD/DVD combo, model 32LA30RQD, with 1,366 by 768p resolution,
a 3,000:1 contrast ratio, less than 1 watt power draw in standby mode, and
playback support for DVDs, CDs, MP3 music files and JPEG images. It is shipping
now to Sears, Kmart and Walmart.com stores at a $380 retail price.

On is also showing
a 24-inch RCA FullHD 1080p LCD TV with LED backlighting in model LED24A45RQ. It
offers an 800:1 contrast ratio, HDMI input, uses less than 1 watt of power in
standby mode and is shipping now to Sears, Kmart, Amazon and Walmart.com at a
$280 retail price.

Digital Stream
Technology, the Torrence, Calif., licensee of the RCA brand for handheld and
automotive portable TVs, will showcase the $89 RCA Storm Ready portable digital
TV, model DHT235C. It features a 3.5-inch screen and receives standard ATSC over-the-air
broadcasts operating on AA batteries. It is shipping now to RadioShack and
RCAPortableTV.com.

The company is
also showing the RCA 3.5-inch hybrid mobile digital LCD TV, model DMT335R, with
LED backlighting, AA battery power, and the ability to receive both standard
and Mobile Digital TV broadcasts. Included is an easel-back built-in stand. It
is available now at RCAPortableTV.com at a $119 suggested retail.

Joining it is RCA
3.5-inch hybrid mobile digital TV, model DMT336R, with an LED backlit LCD
screen, built-in lithium-poly battery (4 hours playback time per charge), both standard
and Mobile Digital TV broadcast signal reception, easel-back stand, and a
choice of black or white body colors. It is available now at RCAPortableTV.com
for $159.

The RCA 7.5-inch
hybrid mobile digital TV, model DMT270R, features HD resolution, a 500:1
contrast ratio, built-in lithium-poly battery (three hours playback time per
charge), and both standard and Mobile Digital TV broadcast reception. It is
available now for $179 through RCAPortableTV.com

The RCA pocket mobile
DTV car tuner/receiver, model DMT3BR, receives both standard and Mobile Digital
TV broadcasts and is easy to connect to car video systems. It is powered by a
car charger and is available now for $129 through RCAPortableTV.com.
