LAS VEGAS – The Rayovac brand will appear on a new budget line of Portable Power chargers from Spectrum Brands Holdings aimed at the mass market. Smaller footprints, more powerful battery capacities and sharp retail pricing are key features of the series.
The Rayovac 7 Hour Power Recharge mobile charger runs on off-the-shelf alkaline or rechargeable lithium batteries for situations when an outlet is not available. It charges most USB devices and automatically turns off after 30 seconds of inactivity to save battery power. It will retail for $19.99.
Also new, Rayovac’s Phone Boost 800 mobile device charger is about the size of a thumb drive and can attach to a keychain. On a full charge of its 800 mAh battery it can provide 150 minutes of talk time to a typical smartphone or provide emergency power to digital cameras, portable gaming devices, audio players and the like.
MicroUSB and Apple 30-pin versions have a suggested retail of $19.99. A Lightning version is $24.99. Other products in the line include 2,000 mAh and 6,000 mAh power-pack chargers and dual home/car chargers.
Rayovac is in booth Titian 2204.
