Fort Worth, Texas – RadioShack announced that it has tapped PhotoAccess to provide online digital image storing and printing services to RadioShack customers.
The new digital photo service provided by PhotoAccess is an element of RadioShack’s ‘FotoShack’ initiative announced in July. The retailer is expanding its selection of digital cameras and accessories as well as launching FotoShack branded online services.
RadioShack customers will be able to purchase digital cameras and accessories from RadioShack and order prints from the PhotoAccess-backed website. RadioShack will market this new service to its customers via Web promotions, email, monthly in-home sales flyers and newspaper inserts under the FotoShack brand.
PhotoAccess has integrated its digital photofinishing infrastructure systems with RadioShack’s website. Customers can post digital images to the site and store them for free for the first year. After that, customers will have to spend $20 on the site the following year to maintain their saved images.
