RadioShack Continues To Reshape Management Team

Fort Worth, Texas — In the latest round of management changes at RadioShack, executive VP Huey Long has left the company and Mark Boerio has joined to head up inventory operations.

Boerio, formerly of Belk Department Stores, is the latest in a series of recent hires at the struggling CE chain, as Joe Magnacca, less than one year into his helm as CEO, continues to assemble a new management team to assist in his turnaround efforts.

In the newly created post of inventory planning and allocation senior VP, Boerio will support the company’s assortment revamp and new localized-assortment initiative, which “will place greater demands on our inventory management team and processes,” Magnacca said. He assumes his new role on Dec. 3.

Long leaves RadioShack after less than one year on the job. He was brought in from Sam’s Club by Magnacca’s predecessor, interim CEO Dorvin Lively, as strategy and consumer insights executive VP to head marketing, business development and omnichannel. He later handed off the marketing function to Jennifer Warren, one of Magnacca’s first key hires.
