Fort Worth, Texas - RadioShack is down a chief marketing officer.
Lee Applbaum, who had held that post and an executive VP title since Sept. 2008, "is no longer associated with the company," RadioShack reported yesterday in a
with the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC).
Brought in by former CEO Julian Day, Applbaum led the chain's "The Shack" re-branding effort, which sought to attract a new generation of customers while retaining the company's heritage.
No reason was given for his departure.
