Seattle — Pure Networks expanded its Network Magic home networking software’s ability to share digital images with the introduction of Network Magic PhotoCast.
PhotoCast, working in conjunction with Network Magic software, gives user the ability to place images in a shared folder that resides on their Network Magic personal Web site where they are automatically turned into a slide show. The images can then be sent to or accessed by others who have been authorized access to the personal Web site, the company said.
PhotoCast was developed in conjunction with the online photo firm ShutterFly. The partnership allows users to directly upload their images from PhotoCast to ShutterFly to make prints. The application is part of Pure Networks’ Net2Go which helps create the personal Web site and share it among a home’s networked computers.
PhotoCast is available as an electronic download from www.networkmagic.com for $39 or for $49 when purchased in at retail.
