San Francisco — Pure Digital said today it had recently sold its 1 millionth Flip flash-memory-based camcorder.
The company also said its camcorders were now compatible with Mac computers, including Apple’s QuickTime, iMovie and iDVD video programs.
The Flip family currently consists of the $149 Flip Ultra and the $179 Flip Mino.
According to The NPD Group’s retail-tracking service, Flip led the camcorder category in unit sales in the month of June.
