Pittsburgh – The
PowerHouse Alliance group elected a new slate of officers and added a new
member during its meeting last week in Chicago.
The new officers
for the remainder of 2012 and 2013 are: president, Trevor Hansen (Volutone);
VP, Jeff Martin (MRI); treasurer, Nick Nagy (EDI); secretary, Craig Breinholt
(Mountain West); and Dennis Holzer executive director.
In addition, new
member Electronic Custom Distributors (ECD), based in Texas, was introduced and
took part in the meetings.
M. Rothman, which
was recently purchased by fellow distributor Z. Reiss & Associates of
Brooklyn, N.Y., is no longer a member of the group due to PowerHouse bylaws
about a change of ownership of a distributor.
However,
executives with M. Rothman Group, as it is now called under Z. Reiss ownership,
went to the Chicago meeting for interviews to rejoin the group, according to
Holzer.
He added that a
decision on M. Rothman Group’s possible return to PowerHouse will be made soon.
