Boca Raton, Fla. — Polaroid has unveiled the Polaroid Fotobar online store offering consumers the chance to produce “museum-quality” art from their digital pictures.
The service, which can be found at PolaroidFotobar.com, offers users an easy, intuitive process for making photo prints.
A patent-pending feature called Fotomail allows users to easily and quickly upload their images captured on smart phones and cameras onto the site for onscreen customization.
The Fotomail feature also makes it simple to work with favorite photos posted on Facebook, Instagram, Flickr or Picasa accounts.
Photos can be enhanced using photo-effect technology such as contrast, red-eye correction, brightness and filters showing users the outcome as they work online.
A wide variety of art formats and mountings are available including framed, matted, canvas, metal, award and poster products.
Every item is made in the U.S. and shipped for free within the continental U.S.
Live customer support is also available to assist technophobes.
“We dug deep creatively, to bring consumers a fine-tuned technology that unleashes their phone-trapped memories to turn them into permanent, museum-quality art,” said Cheryl Zatz, Polaroid Fotobar marketing VP, an authorized Polaroid licensee.
“I am excited about this partnership because it fits so well with the Polaroid DNA,” said Scott W. Hardy PLR Holdings president and CEO. “Polaroid's philosophy for the past 75 years has been about sharing life with fun and easy-to-use products and the Polaroid Fotobar online store continues that proud tradition. Everyone can now create museum-quality prints with just a few clicks.”
