PMA Show Opens Today

Orlando, Fla. — Over 700 registered exhibitors and close to 25,000 attendees have converged on the Orange County Convention Center to eye the latest in photo capture, management and output at the 81st annual Photo Marketing Association’s trade show and convention, which began today and runs through Feb. 23.

On the heels of another year of double-digit category growth, the show will be awash in new digital cameras, but the competitive landscape is shifting. Rather than ring-in new introductions by hailing image quality, vendors are increasingly stressing the capability of the cameras to perform advanced in-camera editing, special effects and improved performance.
