PlumChoice Names New CEO

Billerica, Mass. – Remote tech-support
provider PlumChoice has appointed board member Bob Badavas president/CEO.

He succeeds former CEO and founder Ted
Werth, who remains chairman and chief strategy and products officer.

The company said it expanded its management
team to help drive and maximize “a fundamental industry shift to put customers
at the center of technical support.”

 PlumChoice
said it will tap Badavas’ software and services industry experience, which includes
stints at Cerulean Technology, a mobile application software developer, and TAC
Worldwide, a technical resourcing company where he served as president/CEO.
Badavas has been a PlumChoice director since February 2011.

“Bob and I collaborated on the board to refine
the PlumChoice strategy. We’ll continue working closely together in our new
roles,” Werth said.
