Pioneer Store Marks First Anniversary With A Remodel

Costa Mesa, Calif. — Pioneer Electronics is remodeling its one-year-old retail store as a showcase for the company’s new Kuro line of plasma TVs.

The TVs, which boast ultra-deep blacks, will serve as the focal point of the Pioneer Store, located here at the upscale South Coast Plaza shopping center. The retrofit will also include new logo signage and other design elements that reflect Pioneer’s global repositioning “as a premium brand that appeals to the emotion felt when experiencing Pioneer products,” the company said.

The store will be one of the first locations in Southern California to showcase the new plasma platform.

In addition, to mark the store’s first anniversary, a private concert will be held for VIP customers featuring Grammy-nominated jazz musician David Benoit.

“Within such a short period of time, we have made an impact in elevating the consumers’ retail experience,” said Jeff Hagg, general manager of Pioneer Stores. “The positive responses we’ve received on the retail floor are testaments to our goal in changing the way people shop for their home entertainment products. We look forward to continuing to learn from our customers and providing them an educational and enjoyable shopping experience when they come into the Pioneer Store.”

Over the past year, the store has hosted several in-store celebrity appearances, launched store-exclusive product, and conducted several high-end custom home theater installations.

Pioneer also sells direct to consumers online at www.store.pioneerelectronics.com.
