Photo Accessories Debut From DayMen Group

Petaluma, Calif. – The DayMen Group introduced more than a dozen new products from its Lowepro, Joby and Acme Made photo acessories brands for debut at this week’s Photokina trade show.

New from Lowepro are four bag models. The Lowepro Rover Pro AW is the company’s first mountain-style photo pack built for carrying a camera and camping gear. It features a customizable trampoline-style camera harness system and modular gear compartments that can removed to transform the bag into a full daypack as needed. It comes in Galaxy Blue/light gray, in two sizes, retailing for $300 and $330.

 Lowepro’s Photo Hatchback, introduced in May and shipping now, is a daypack featuring body-side opening and an organization system for camera gear and a tablet. It comes in Galaxy Blue, Slate Gray and Pepper Red, in two sizes, retailing for $99.99 and $120.

The new S&F Lens Exchange 100 AW lens case is based on Lowepro’s first modular system, the Street and Field series. It utilizes a patent-pending design function that securely positions one lens while the second is removed and mounted on the camera. It comes in black and retails for $44.95.

Lowepro’s Passport Sling II fits a complete DSLR or compact system camera (CSC) kit. Its customizable camera compartment adjusts to fit either type camera kit and can be removed to transform the sling to a day bag for general use. It is available in black/red and Mica/green, retailing for $79.99.

 And Lowepro also announced its popular Event Messenger series is now available in black. It boasts flexible organization across three models to accommodate most CSC and DSLR kits as well as a tablet.

New to the DayMen Group’s Joby brand are two new ergonomic camera straps.

The Joby UltraFit Sling Strap for Men & Women features an ergonomically placed pivot ring in front that allows the strap to conform to the shape of the wearer. It retails for $49.99

Joby’s 3-Way Camera Strap, $39.99, offers three wearing modes: around the wrist, neck or shoulder. A retractable Dyneema cord holds up to 90 pounds and extends for variable widths.

Acme Made introduced a new line of versatile camera bags in its style-oriented Montgomery series. The Montgomery Street Collection come in gray and Olive Green and includes a backpack ($99.99 suggested retail), a courier ($79.99), a kit bag ($59.99) and a simple case ($29.99.) Each is equipped with the company’s FlexFold System which provides a quick way to collapse or expand the internal space to accommodate different systems and accessories.

Also new is the Acme Made Oak Street Hard Case, a molded case designed for point-and-shoot cameras and other compact digital devices. It comes in black, red, purple and Olive Green, retailing for $17.99.

Acme Made also debuted two new iPad cases. The Bay Street sleeve is an ultra-thin model designed for the second- and third-generation iPad. It comes in matte black, gray/orange, Java/teal and purple/pink, retailing for $24.99.

The brand’s new Bay Street case is a carrying solution for all generations of the iPad and includes elastic corner keeper straps and a built-in stylus holder. It comes in matte black, gray/orange, Java/teal and purple/pink, and retails for $34.99.

All of the new Lowepro, Joby and Acme Made products will be available at B&H, Adorama, Samy’s and other leading photo retailers, as well as for preorder on Lowepro.com, Joby.com and AcmeMade.com.
