Phoenix Gold Ships Ti-Series Amps

Clearwater,
Fla. – Phoenix Gold said it is now shipping
the first of its Ti-Series amplifiers.

The Ti800.4 and Ti2500.1
were originally announced at International CES in January. The former is a
four-channel A/B amp while the latter is a monoblock, class D amp.

Both models also
boast overbuilt dual unregulated power supplies and hand-wound power supply
transformers. The Ti800.4 is said to have low ESR
rail voltage capacitors and bi-polar output transistors, while the Ti2500.1 has
aluminum shaft potentiometers and crossovers with 41 detents for exact
frequency selection.

Two other models
in the series — the Ti500.1, a monoblock Class D amp, and the Ti600.4, a
four-channel Class A/B — will be available in May, Phoenix Gold said. Specs
for those models are included in the table below.
