Golden, Colo. — Pentax will ship a new entry-level Optio digital camera to dealers in October.
The 10-megapixel E60 sports a 3x optical zoom lens, 2.4-inch LCD, ISO sensitivity to 6,400, face detection and 16 scene modes. The camera also features digital image stabilization and the company’s auto picture mode, which analyzes a scene and automatically chooses from one of seven preset scene modes.
It records VGA resolution movies at 30 fps.
The E60 will be available in black for $140.
