New York — R.C. Willey has become the 16th company to tap into Partsearch Technologies’ outsourced parts management program (OPM), which allows customers to find replaceable parts and accessories for brown and white goods through a co-branded Web site and toll-free phone number.

The co-branded R.C. Willey-Partsearch Web site, www.rcwilleypartsearch.com, and toll-free customer service offering allow Willey’s customers to accessorize its products with a full assortment of dedicated items without placing any additional inventory burden on the retailer. The program also allows R.C. Willey to quickly and efficiently provide its stores with replacement parts for in-store display items and open-box returns.
Partsearch, based here and headed by CEO Glenn Laumeister, maintains a database of 7.2 million parts and accessories for computers, CE products and appliances. The company manages every aspect of the parts supply chain — from identification and sourcing to end-customer sales, customer service, fulfillment, reporting and administration — for retailers, manufacturers and service organizations.
