Dublin, Calif. – Photo frame maker Pandigital is shipping its
second e-book reader.
The $199 Pandigital Novel 7-inch Color Multimedia e-reader has a full-color
touchscreen and is integrated with the Barnes & Noble bookstore, the
company said.
Pandigial said the e-reader will hit several national retailers
next month.
The device weighs almost 12 ounces and has 2GB of internal memory
and an SD/SDHC slot capable of handling a 32GB card.
It is Wi-Fi enabled, has a web browser, and supports the EPUB and
PDF book formats.
The touchscreen resolution is 800 by 600, and a stylus for the
virtual keyboard is included.
