Daytona Beach, Fla. – Panasonic today announced it will be the primary sponsor for a race team on the NASCAR Busch Grand National tour.
The number 67 Panasonic car is owned by the Smith Brother’s Race Team and will be driven by CW Smith. Panasonic will equip the race team with a wide variety of consumer electronic products including DVD/VHS decks, digital camcorders and a Triple Play TV/DVD/VHS players. The team will use all the products during races, said Tom Hantson, Panasonic’s display group national marketing manager.
‘Our goal is to provide technology to the team that will help them run better and more competitively,’ Hantson said.
