Operability is further enhanced with the addition of face/eye detection AF and 49-point AF with custom multi- AF mode.

For still work, the camera features an up to 12 fps (AFS) burst shooting mode for up to approximately 40 shots (including RAW) or 100 (excluding RAW) and 7 fps (AFC) to capture fast-moving subjects.

The camera is said to have a superior noise-reduction system and maximum ISO of 25,600 for high-quality low-light still shooting.
