Secaucus, N.J. — Panasonic will ship a pair of IP-enabled security cameras to dealers this month.
The BL-C101A and the BL-C121A feature simultaneous still and video capture, a Web address for remote viewing, built-in microphone for audio recording, 30 fps MPEG-4 video capture and a 1Lux color night-view mode.
The cameras also support viewing through select cellphones, motion detection and a digital input for camera triggering.
The BL-C101A is a wired model with a $129 retail. The C121A features Wi-Fi connectivity and a digital output for alarm triggering. It will retail for $199.
