Secaucus, N.J. — Panasonic will add its first 6GB and 12GB SDHC flash-memory cards to its lineup
The new cards will be promoted for use in high-definition camcorders and will have a Class 4 speed rating.
The 6GB RP-SDM06G and 12GB RP-SDM12G can store 90 minutes and 180 minutes, respectively, of 1,920 by 1,080 video at 9Mbps, Panasonic said. Panasonic will display recording capacity by video mode on its packaging.
The new cards will also be bend- and twist-resistant. Pricing was not announced.
