Over 200 GE-Branded Products Added To Jasco Line During CES

Jasco is adding more than 200 GE-branded products to its line at International CES, booth 9005 in the Central Hall.

The company’s GE-branded Orbital 6 Bluetooth headset weighs 6 grams and features a vibrating charging cradle that can use either internal batteries or an AC adapter. The headset offers up to eight hours of talk time and up to 150 hours of standby time. The product has a suggested retail price of $89.99 and uses a Class 2 Bluetooth connection to connect with mobile phones.

Jasco is also showing a GE-branded UltraPro laptop accessory kit with a suggested retail price of $59.99. The kit includes an optical mini-mouse that features a two-port USB hub attachment so more than one application can be run simultaneously through one of the computer’s USB ports.

Jasco’s new GE-branded four-port USB hub with rotating cubes features four USB 2.0 ports, each on an individual cube capable of rotating 180 degrees, and combines them on a rotating bar so that they can better accommodate oversized USB plugs and manage USB cables from different directions. The hub, said to support data transfer rates of up to 480MBps, comes with cable management ties to keep USB cables neat and organized. Also included is an AC adapter to provide the ports with 500mA of power, useful for devices that use USB connections for battery recharging. The hub has a suggested retail price of $29.99.

Audiophiles may take an interest in Jasco’s two new GE-branded iPod speaker systems. The speaker system for iPod, with a suggested retail price of $179, lets users transmit their music library over included stereo speakers and also to display videos from their iPods on most televisions. It comes with a 15-function IR remote and it offers S-Video output, USB syncing and multiple charging options.

With portability in mind, the company is also introducing its GE-branded iOsphere for iPod. The product features two separate satellite speakers that can be attached to the top and bottom of the base unit to create the one-piece egg-shaped product for travel. The system, which has a suggested retail price of $99.99, also has multiple charging options and is said to be about the same size as a softball when in its egg-like configuration.

The company is also bowing two GE-branded webcams. The horizontally oriented GE-branded auto-focusing PC cam features a versatile adjustable stand that clips over a monitor and a one-touch snapshot button. The camera automatically adjusts to capture the point of best focus, eliminating the need to manually adjust the lens with every movement. It comes with ArcSoft VideoImpression software and a velvet travel bag. The GE-branded Web cam and doubles as a business card reader. Its foldable design is intended for portability and it is bundled with ArcSoft webcam Companion and SmartCard recognizer software. Both of the cameras are set to retail for $99.99. Each captures 1.3-megapixel video and comes with a built-in microphone.

Finally, Jasco is introducing a spate of GE-branded Bluetooth audio accessories with suggested retail prices ranging from $99.95 through $139. These products include the Bluetooth Audio/Data USB adapter, Bluetooth home stereo transmitter and receiver, Bluetooth portable stereo transmitter, Bluetooth stereo headphones, and the Bluetooth stereo headphones with advanced controls.
