Douglasville, Ga. — Omega expanded its Excalibur remote-start line with the addition of three models, one of which will replace an older model
The AL-2050-EDPB two-way alarm/remote-start system has a 1-mile range will replace the AL-2030-EDPB. Updated features include a new controller, and dual data ports supporting two plug-in accessories: one iDatalink port and one DBI port with selectable protocol. It also has remote-activated low-temperature and low-volt auto start, remote-activated valet mode, and a low-current mode for motorcycle and trailer-type applications.
The AL-1750-EDPB is Omega’s first one-way security and remote-start system with a 1-mile range, while the RS-450-EDP+ is its first one-way keyless and remote-start system with a 1-mile range. Both use 900MHZ spread spectrum technology and have the same features as the AL-2050-EDPB.
All three feature Omega CarLink smartphone interface compatibility. They will ship in October.
