the PDN PhotoPlus Expo here that its Viewer 2 software now adds support for its
Olympus E-5 Four-Thirds d-SLR.
The addition is included in upgrade version 1.1 on both the
Windows and Mac platforms.
Olympus Viewer 2 is
compatible with the latest operating systems, such as Windows 7 and Mac OS X
Snow Leopard.
Olympus Viewer 2, which is available as a free download on the
Olympus web site, is photo editing software designed for novice and
professional photographers, and includes RAW development, application of Art
Filter effects and e-Portrait functionality.
Olympus Viewer 2 software adds support for the Olympus E-5
DSLR. This will update the software to
Version 1.1 on both the Windows and Mac platforms. Olympus Viewer 2 is compatible with the
latest operating systems, such as Windows 7 and Mac OS X Snow Leopard.
The software is said to provide rapid RAW photofinishing for all
Olympus E-System digital SLR and PEN cameras, and allows extremely fast saving
of RAW files as TIFF or JPEG files and rapid response for stress-free setting
of RAW photofinishing parameters.
Other benefits include:
an automatic tone adjustment function that creates an optimized tone curve
revealing details lost in shadow or highlight resulting in a more lifelike
image; and batch processing that performs a list of editing procedures on a
large group of images at the same time.
