Nokia Exec Moves To Brightpoint

Indianapolis – Larry Paulson, a 23-year Nokia veteran, will join

Brightpoint

as EVP/CMO effective Jan. 1.

Paulson will report to Robert J. Laikin, chairman and chief executive
of the wireless-industry distributor and logistics company.

Paulson will be responsible for directing and coordinating strategic
development, expanding into new products and services, establishing and managing
relationships with vendors and customers, and executing the company’s global
marketing plan, the company said.

Paulson has been working with Brightpoint since June as senior strategic
development advisor.

At Nokia, he served most recently as global senior VP/GM CDMA
devices in Nokia’s Devices Business Group. His 23-year tenure at Nokia includes
the time he spent at handheld-cellphone supplier Technophone, which Nokia
acquired in the 1991.
