San Francisco – Toshiba gave the public a sneak peek at its
latest Qosmio laptop at the Intel Developers Conference, here.
Full specifications and pricing for the Qosmio X500 will not be
released by Toshiba until Oct. 13, and it will be available at retail on Oct.
However, Toshiba gave a broad description, saying it will feature
an 18.4-inch display, the new Intel Core i7 processor, Windows 7 and Intel’sTurbo Boost Technology. The laptop will have dual hard drive, GDDR5
memory, Blu-ray, Nvidia GeForce GTS 250M graphics, Harman/Kardon speakers and
Dolby home-theater audio.
The X500 will sport a new design featuring red chrome accents.
